Portland College recently hosted the Resilience and Employability Conference in partnership with Care After Combat and Vaughandale’s operations coordinator Claire was in in attendance, bringing to our office a new awareness Claire found the speakers to be inspiring .

Care after Combat is a UK based charity providing support within the Justice System for the well-being of former British Armed Forces personnel and their families.

Claire returned to Vaughandale after the event with  a clearer understanding of what is needed to support our veterans and thanks to a wealth of expert speakers combined with a fully engaging audience of delegates it made for an interesting and worthwhile day.
