Vaughandale Construction have been working in partnership with Framework Charity as the main contractor building the new block of flats aimed at tackling rough sleeping in Nottingham.

The block has been named Akins House after George (jnr) and Sean Akins, the directors directors of DHP Family, which organises the annual Beat the Streets festival.

The flats are located in the three story new build with three flats on the ground floor, three on the first floor and two on the top floor.

Planning permission gained in September 2022 for the new build of eight flats, Vaughandale were chosen as the main contractor to deliver the project and start works in May 2023, working closely with the Framework Team.
