Our Operations Co-Ordinator, Claire, recently attended the Care after Combats’ Resilience and Employability Conference, hosted by Portland Training College.
Care after Combat is a UK based charity providing support within the Justice System for the well-being of former British Armed Forces personnel and their families.
The conference aims to provide an insight into Government policy, practical tools and strategies to overcome recruitment challenges by accessing the huge, yet hidden labour pool of ex-service personnel from within the Justice System and people with disabilities.
Claire found the event to be very inspiring and will help Vaughandale Construction to become a more inclusive employer.
